Does make one wonder what the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2017-02-15\/russian-spy-ship-now-just-30-miles-primary-east-coast-submarine-base\">Russian spy ship was doing just 30 miles from America\u2019s \u201cprimary East Coast Sub base a month ago.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0Former Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army Yuri Baluyevsky is certain that \u2018the idea to increase defense expenditure was presented to Trump by the U.S. military, who argue a lot about the power of the Russian army, realizing this is an opportunity to get new money.\u2019 But how will Moscow react to the growing military budget of the U.S.? Baluyevsky answers: \u2018Russia will not compete with the U.S. in defense expenditure. We are in a different weight class. For us, the main question is how to ensure Russia\u2019s defense at a lower cost.\u00a0<strong>I am sure that we have already found asymmetrical responses. I don\u2019t see a big problem here.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat are these mysterious \u2018asymmetrical responses\u2019 that our politicians and generals speak about so often? Maybe it\u2019s a myth or a pretty turn of phrase? No! Our asymmetrical response is nuclear warheads that can modify their course and height so that no computer can calculate their trajectory. Or, for example, the Americans are deploying their tanks, airplanes and special forces battalions along the Russian border.\u00a0<strong>And we are quietly \u2018seeding\u2019 the U.S. shoreline with nuclear \u2018mole\u2019 missiles (they dig themselves in and \u2018sleep\u2019 until they are given the command)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\u2026]<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cOh, it seems I\u2019ve said too much. I should hold my tongue.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>In short, we have something to provide an \u2018asymmetrical\u2019 (and cheaper) response to the Americans.<\/strong>\u00a0But if Trump has money to burn, let him spend it on weapons that the U.S. may never even need.
