Organizer of \u201cCHOP\u201d Says It\u2019s Not About Peaceful Protest<\/a><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Filmmaker Ami Horowitz went to the new Seattle Antifa hub of CHAZ\/CHOP recently and shared footage of what he saw and his interactions with leaders of the movement, most notably its organizer, Jaiden Grayson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grayson told Horowitz, \u201cEvery day that I show up here, I\u2019m not here to peacefully protest. I\u2019m here to disrupt until my demands are met. You cannot rebuild until you break it all the way down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grayson also said that they will not stop until their demands<\/a> are met \u201cby any means necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not a slogan. It\u2019s not even a warning. I\u2019m letting people know what comes next. If the Seattle Police Department turns in their badges, we\u2019ll have made a move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe unraveling of that system is also what will fuel the black minds in the black bodies that will recreate a new world. I don\u2019t understand why more journalists are not asking those questions. We run to black people the minute that they\u2019re killed and we have been seeing them be killed for so long that the PTSD from that is unbelievable. You have people still b\u2013ching about 9\/11, unbelievable. One act of terror,\u201d Grayson said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Fox News<\/a>, CHAZ\/CHOP has a list of demands for the city, including abolishing the police, prisons, courts and criminal justice system \u201cas we know it today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
