Here\u2019s the rules!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will be vaccinated against COVID-19 or you won\u2019t be allowed to leave your home.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You won\u2019t be allowed to go to work.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will be denied medical care.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will not be allowed to have any contact with family and friends.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You won\u2019t be able to go to school.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Stripped of its contextual baggage, the phrase \u201cMy Body, My Choice\u201d makes a compelling rallying cry because it conveys a fundamental truth that we all innately understand: I have the claim to my own body and what is done to it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So why, then, are we being asked to believe that when it comes to vaccinations during a declared pandemic it is \u201cYour Body, Their Choice\u201d?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=16169198038706839183&amp;q=jacobson+v+massachusetts&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=20006\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1905 Supreme Court decision<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">established the constitutionality of compulsory state vaccination laws to protect the public health. Meaning you have\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/journalofethics.ama-assn.org\/article\/mandatory-vaccination-legal-time-epidemic\/2006-04\">no right<\/a>\u00a0to refuse this<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/journalofethics.ama-assn.org\/article\/mandatory-vaccination-legal-time-epidemic\/2006-04\">vaccination.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Although<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldpopulationreview.com\/states\/vaccination-rates-by-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">all 50 states and the District of Columbia<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">now require diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measles, rubella, and varicella vaccinations before attending public school, all also offer a variety of vaccine exemptions for medical, religious, and philosophical reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Only 11 states can override these exemptions in an outbreak.\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/crsreports.congress.gov\/product\/pdf\/LSB\/LSB10300\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Court decisions<\/a>, including from the Supreme Court, have upheld both state-imposed fines for refusing to be vaccinated and the exclusion of unvaccinated children from schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Of course, even with Covid-19 treatments \u2014 which have not yet been rigorously studied \u2014 many health experts agree that life is never going to be normal without a vaccine, including former FDA commissioner Scott Gottlieb and White House infectious disease adviser Anthony Fauci.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Practicing Preventive Heath gives us peace of mind that we are taking control of our Health, so we can improve our odds of having a better Quality of Life, where we don\u2019t need anyone to care for us.
