(Natural News<\/a>) The \u2018woke\u2019 Leftist mobs being indoctrinated by the nation\u2019s public school system and centers of \u2018higher education\u2019 to hate America and all of its institutions claimed another victim last week.<\/p>\n

The chief of campus police at West Virginia University was forced to apologize to angry intolerant students after they saw a \u201cthin blue line\u201d version of the American flag, which honors police officers, hanging\u00a0inside his home<\/i>\u00a0during a Zoom video call.<\/p>\n

According to Campus Reform<\/a>, Chief W.P. Chedester actually said he was sorry for the \u201churt\u201d that his flag may have caused the little melting flakes of Leftist snow.<\/p>\n

In a statement<\/a>\u00a0he said:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier today I participated in a virtual Campus Conversation with our vice president of diversity, Equity and inclusion. Our goal was to focus on how we can work together to foster a\u00a0<\/i>safe, diverse and inclusive<\/i><\/b>\u00a0culture at WVU.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

I participated from my office, and on the wall behind me was an American flag with a blue stripe that I had been given as a gift.\u00a0For me personally, it has always represented a way to honor the commitment I made as a first responder to protect our community. I understand now that it represents something else to many others; something that I now know was traumatic to some of our community tuning in for our Conversation. I sincerely did not have any intent to suggest that police lives matter more than Black lives nor was I intentionally trying to cause any harm or offense.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

I apologize<\/i><\/b>\u00a0for how this has damaged the trust I have worked to build with the community. I am committed to rebuilding that trust beginning today.\u00a0<\/i>I am taking the flag down from my office wall<\/i><\/b>.<\/i><\/p>\n

He went on to say that the George Floyd incident \u201chas made it clear that we have much work to do in our country and in our own communities\u201d \u2014 though\u00a0that<\/i>\u00a0incident had nothing at all to do with the West Virginia University Campus Police.<\/p>\n

It seems rather unbelievable that a police chief would be so hard-up to keep his job that he would bend over for the outrage mob instead of telling the university to pound sand and the little melting flakes of snow to grow up.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, as in every single similar instance where the Left-wing mob gets \u2018insulted,\u2019 it\u2019s always the \u2018offender\u2019 who has to apologize, not the offended.<\/p>\n

And you\u2019ll notice, too, that they all use the same inaccurate language: Words like \u201cinclusive,\u201d \u201cdiverse,\u201d \u201ctolerant.\u201d<\/p>\n

How \u2018inclusive\u2019 is it to\u00a0exclude<\/i>\u00a0someone else\u2019s point of view simply because\u00a0you choose<\/i>\u00a0to be offended (and being offended\u00a0is<\/i>\u00a0a choice)?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where is the \u201cdiversity\u201d of thought in savaging a\u00a0police officer<\/i>\u00a0who obviously likes and respects his profession? Would the same woke \u2018diversity\u2019 champions like it if the police chief trashed college students and professors because they \u2018offend\u2019 him? And it\u2019s anything\u00a0but<\/i>\u00a0tolerant to insist that Chedester apologize and\/or be reprimanded for a point of view \u2014 no matter what that point of view happens to be.<\/p>\n

Finally, let\u2019s not forget he\u2019s a\u00a0police officer<\/i>, not a KKK member or a terrorist.<\/p>\n

But in the end, Chedester\u2019s disgusting mea culpa wasn\u2019t enough. The position of Chief of Police must now be cleansed and made whole again, and for that to happen, well, Chedester\u2019s gotta go.<\/p>\n
