Perhaps the coronavirus is just acting as a Trojan Horse for these sort of politicians.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"wpsdc-drop-cap\">A<\/span>s we enter day 263 of \u201cfourteen days to slow the spread,\u201d Los Angeles has been hard at work to, in the words of Mayor Eric Garcetti, \u201ccancel everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among his new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/2020\/12\/03\/los-angeles-new-lockdown-rules-walking-driving\/\">nonsensical restrictions<\/a>\u00a0includes a ban on outdoor dining, driving, and travel on public transport, bikes, motorcycles, and scooters (except for \u201cessential\u201d activities).
