A flat Earth video I recently watched asked how the moon can go from West to East and at a slow pace relative to the fast speed of the Earth vs the slower speed of the Moon.

Well this animation answers that question pretty easily.

The speed of the eclipse over the Earth and the direction of the eclipse isn’t tied to the Moon’s speed—the eclipse isn’t showing the Moon’s movement—but the Earth’s movement in relation to the source of the light: the Sun.

Great video, it shows the earth spinning East at the correct speed (700 miles a hours in USA) and the moon is about stationary (28 days around the earth). NOW, what is moving?
