Show up Strong: SOS Canada

Canadian citizens and truckers are bravely demanding an end to vaccine passports and mandates in their country, but they’re facing an unprecedented challenge with Prime Minister Trudeau invoking national war-powers with the Emergencies Act and attacking his own people. These are broad, sweeping powers that eliminate any checks and balances within the government being pushed on Canadians, under the guise of protecting them from what he is incorrectly portraying as a threat. Truckers and their supporters need our help from every corner of the globe right now!

We at Children’s Health Defense support the brave Canadians in their quest for freedom and to restore democracy in their great country. We are calling on advocates everywhere to stand in solidarity with the truckers and people of Canada by gathering outside a Canadian Consulate near you. We are calling for people around the world to rally and #DanceLikeCanadians in front of every Canadian Consulate.

These peaceful rallies in Ottawa the Canadians have been filled with joy, love and unity. We’ve witnessed Canadians standing shoulder to shoulder with flags and signs to defend their personal freedoms and end mandates. Even amidst the battle for freedom the people of Canada are seen dancing in the streets, hugging, sharing food, bringing their children to play and cleaning up the streets. There’s a sense of joy and pride for their country as they fight to stop vaccine passports, end mandates and restore democracy for all. It’s this type of kindness, peace and cooperation that the powers that be don’t know how to combat.

If you wish to support our freedom-fighting friends up north, please consider gathering at your nearest Canadian Consulate or embassy. There was a gathering in NYC just days ago where freedom fighters danced like Canadians. It was a wonderful way to show support for their actions and the right to medical freedom.

Here are four things you can do to stand with Canada:

  1. Find the Canadian Consulate near you.
  2. Organize and invite local groups and community members to show up to #DanceLikeCanadians at your local Canadian Consulate with signs, bullhorns and your favorite freedom dance playlist.
  3. Be sure to share your event with CHD to be featured on our Community Calendar.
  4. Share pictures from your rallies on social media, and use the hashtag #DanceLikeCandadians.
